Staying Local so....Hi
Hi all.
We were to depart Horowhenua for the Marlborough region, but decided to stay, so time to spread the word a little wider.
Lyndsey is the name, now in my 50's and been in and about the tackle trade since 1979.
Still in the trade, now as a manufacturing wholesaler (for the past 9 yrs) and work alongside my wife in our home based business near Levin.
I enjoy my fishing but would like to "enjoy more fishing" given the chance a bit more often.
We own a boat (5.3m Reflex Contra) but don't get it wet often enough.....
Own lotsa rods but don't get them bent often enough........
.........yes I know, we all have these problems.....
so, in staying local, we will make sure we enjoy the surrounds more from hereon.
Hope to see you on the water or beach sometime soon.

At least we have choices from here.
We can use the boat from Welly, Mana, Foxton, Wanganui...., all within 90 minutes from here.
Beaches all around us and great club scene locally at Waitarere Beach too!
Only $10 a year for adult membership!

Agreed, however my shore based fishing is now under threat due to health issue taking out my right arm strength.....
Just as well I can wind with my right arm, and own a boat, although I always loved float fishing for Mullet off a wharf!
