Hey Guys. For sure it has definitely been way to long since posting on here. Like has been said, the forum seems to have dried up a little... but I'm sure there's still a few regulars that frequent it to have a look.
I have not really done much fishing since the start of the year (caught some great Snapper off the rocks around Eastbourne in the Harbour) as I have been to busy Hunting the roaring Red Stags! With great success I might add... so now comes the great time of the year to wet a line again and try to win some great prizes up for offer over the weekend!
Is any body on here looking at entering! Im heading out on a mates boat on Friday so I am quiet excited, considering the reports I have had today at work (hunting and Fishing Hutt Valley) that Kingfish and huge Snapper (30lb) are still being caught around the Harbour and south Coast at present. On Saturday I have to work but am planning on heading out for a surf cast afterwards and trying to get a few Moki and Spotty Sharks on the south coast and Sunday will be the same.. More surfcasting! Good luck everybody and I will post back here with my story's afterwards! Lets get this forum going again people!

The fishing on Friday was good. We went out to Fitzroy Bay on my mates boat and caught a big load of huge Kahawai and some Gurnade. We managed to get some good Blue cod @ 1.5kgs and then went into the harbour and got some Tarakihi. The other mates on there boat, got a Kingy (7kg) and a snapper (1kg) with us too. A Friend of mine won $1000 cash for a 3.29kg Snapper he got surfcasting @ Ocean Beach on Saturday morning. I got the flu on Saturday so never managed to get back out the other two days!
