Deep water fishing off Tangimoana

Hi boaties, just wanting to know if there are any reefs that hold blue cod off Tangimoana anywhere? I have fished a great deal at about the 30-40m marks but wanted to know if there is anything other than sand if you go out further? I have heard that there is a line of mixed sand and reef that runs from Wanganui to the end of Kapiti Island situated about 10 - 15 km off shore.

Be great to know if there is anything more out there to target other than Snapper and Gurnard, and save me the longer drive to Wanganui.

i do know for a fact there is a reef straight out from the rivermouth which you can catch anything from , jd;s, conger eels, tics, abit off the reef you should catch snaps and carrots, i do know you can catch bluecod out that way but not sure where i think you might have too head abit south of the reef

by the way if you ever need a deckhand i;m keen as , got a mate who;s always keen aswell , we pay our way and also wash the boat, we are both based in palmy north.
