PUT A KITE LINE OUT AT BAY VIEW NAPIER A WEEK AGO WITH 6 HOOKS ON THE BOTTOM AND A 3 HOOK FLASHER RIG ON THE DROP LINE AFTER IT BEING OUT FOR 1 hr ONLY CAUGHT 1 BLOODY BARACUTTA

Took the dinghy out tuesday grabd a few kahawai for tea.
Smoked them hot with hikory, yum

Good on ya guys at least your getting out there, went out surfcasting last Friday night at tangimoana to no success, pretty strong westerly in your face which made casting tough but was great to get out there. Will most likely head out further south next trip.

Wednesday 10th now, This past few days I have noticed an uptake in Birds working and kahawai activity.
I noticed in the scope Monday a lot of bird activity over at the mainland as well.

Ripped over to the mainland today, sort a couple things, lots of river wash, logs, twigs etc out there, watch the water if you guys are ripping around out there in boats the next week or two IMO

Hey guys, took the dinghys out for a row around by Browns and us last nyte, lotsa Kahawai, piper and few kingi signs, this was around 7-8pm.
went out for a troll today about 5pm, 20 seconds in the water and a kingi !, lots of kahawai jumping over by toko as well.
Nice.
Early morning and later in the avo over by Kapiti seems to be happening past week.
