looking for a spot of the beach nr Pokerua Bay

Hi all,

Lacking a boat I'm not able to make the most of the weather tomorrow, however I would love to throw the line in somewhere.

Does anyone have any suggestions for locations for fishing off the beach or rocks around Plimmerton or Pukerua Bay?

Hey Tony, I havn't beach fished for a while but I'd say try a surfcast out front of fishermans table, Queen Liz park, Waik north beach, Te horo, Otaki river mouth.


Kontiki's and Kayaks are becoming popular off Paraparaumu/Raumati beaches.

Past week or so lotsa snapper were getting caught up off Waikanae/Te Horo beach.
